“All good things must come to an end.” Geoffrey Chaucer…
No, not really! It’s just the beginning…This coming spring we are planning to travel to Panama, Mexico and possibly Costa Rica.
Tyler and I enjoyed our trip to Europe and are now well rested from our travels. We are happy to be back in our nest here in Ojai. We both experienced ourselves to be extremely early risers for the first couple days upon our return…Pretty wild experience, more so for me, as I am not one to be an “early riser.” We’ll see what changes awaken!
As with any great openings, new opportunities are awakening. It’s fun to see everything with fresh eyes while enjoying the comforts and cuisines of home. What a treat it is to cook in our kitchen and be among our community, while enjoying the natural beauty of the trees and animals we are so blessed to live with…I believe a bear came to visit while we were away…Our compost holder doesn’t quite look the same any more.
I am now preparing for the Ojai Art Detour, which will be on Saturday, October 8th and Sunday October 9th, here in Ojai. I will be sharing my art and offering my newly designed Luminous Vision Cards on the tour. More information to follow.

Paris is a wonderful city, filled with cafes, golden luminous buildings, beautiful parks and many walks of life moving around the city. We walked and walked and walked…Upstairs, downstairs…through the streets….jumped on the subway…and then another….I am in the best shape in years!
We met our friends Chris, Pausha and Michal in the city and stayed in the northern part of Paris, Montmartre, which is the highest point in the city. Our room had a wonderful view of the courtyard and the historic church Sacre Couer. It was quite amazing to enjoy it all lit up at night from our room.
We also enjoyed a wonderful meal with my stepmother and stepsister at the Hotel du Louvre. Quite a synchronicity that we were visiting Paris around the same time…Could not have planned it any better!
The gardens in Paris are so beautifully created and maintained, and very unique in expression. Versailles, in particular is amazing! Truly inspiring!
Paris takes on a whole new personality at night…Everything glows…The golden edges of the buildings shimmer among the lights….the bridges are truly romantic, inviting panoramic views of the city.
Initially, I thought a week in Paris would be long enough for me, but once I truly felt the heart of the city, I felt so much more beauty open to me. The city of Paris is so vast, and is one of those places that grows in ones heart in each moment.
